Our youth got the chance to attend Camp Courage and experience camping like never before! We partnered with City of Industry Sheriffs YAL (Youth Activities League), who invited our PALs to camp with them for three days, two nights. They went from roughing it in a tent, campfires, high-ropes, and scary camp stories around the campfire to round-off a full camp experience.
The girls pushed themselves, being put in groups with new faces to encourage them to get out of their shells and developing confidence to make new friends. They shared experiences like playing ping-pong, night hikes, archery and karaoke with Officer Foster and Officer Piamonte! These fearless young ladies braved spiders and curious racoons and came back with all smiles, excited to conquer Camp Courage again next year!
