Many in Los Angeles have had the misfortune of being affected by the LA Fires that have ravaged the Palisades, Hollywood Hills, and many other smaller fires that had made headlines throughout the last few weeks. It’s been a tragedy for most in those areas, as many have nearly lost everything. With that in mind, community has never been more important, especially when it comes to youth.

We have felt it necessary to pull together resources along with the AFYA Foundation, Arts Bridging the Gap, Aveson Schools, and Senator Maria Elena Durazo to create 300 art kits and 150 school backpacks. Volunteers and some of our lovely Girl Scout Troop members came to lend a hand and efficiently knock this volunteer project out of the park!

When community comes together, there’s so much more we can accomplish. There was so much love put into this and when that’s the base of any movement, it truly brings us all together for the greater good. Cheers to making a difference!
