On Thursday, November 7th, the iconic Avalon Hollywood buzzed with energy as community members, LAPD officers, volunteers, and VIPs gathered for the Hollywood PAL Awards Gala. The evening was an incredible celebration of this year’s achievements, while honoring outstanding leaders and rallying support for after-school youth programs. Together, we raised over $150,000 to empower our next generation of leaders. This event showcases the dedication and generosity of our incredible supporters and how our community comes together to make a difference in the lives of our under-resourced youth.

Alejandro Partida-Baiza was honored posthumously as our 2024 PAL Alumni of the Year. Alejandro’s legacy of compassion, leadership, and commitment to our youth programs will forever inspire us.
Senator María Elena Durazo received the 2024 Community Leadership Award for her tireless advocacy and dedicated efforts to uplift and empower communities through meaningful change.
Randy Bragg, also awarded the 2024 Community Leadership Award, was recognized for his extraordinary support and commitment to building stronger youth programming and fostering opportunities for growth in our community. His award was accepted by Corey English on his behalf.
And of course, a huge thank you to our volunteers, officers, friends, and staff for creating an amazing event, and for sharing the magical experience of family and community. Most importantly, as it wouldn’t have happened without you, thank you to our amazing families, who are always enthusiastic with your support, and being the most integral part of our Hollywood PAL family.
