The 2023 PAL Awards Gala held at Avalon Hollywood on November 9th was an extraordinary night of celebration and philanthropy, and we extend our sincerest gratitude to all who participated. Together, we achieved a remarkable feat, raising over $150,000 in support of Hollywood PAL Programs, empowering low-income, at-risk youth in our community.

The evening was further elevated by the presence of our esteemed honorees: Captain Raymond Valois, Officer Ralph Sanchez, Community Leader Steven Cochrane, and PAL Alumni, Cynthia Ayala. Their dedication to our cause exemplifies the spirit of positive change and opportunity creation for the next generation of leaders in Hollywood.

Hollywood PAL is proud to serve over 600 children through a myriad of after-school activities, including soccer, martial arts, tutoring, running, art, and enrichment programs. These activities not only promote physical and mental well-being but also instill values of leadership, goal-setting, self-discipline, and community service, all under the mentorship of LAPD officers.

Through PAL, LAPD officers form meaningful connections with families, fostering trust and fellowship within our diverse community.
