Work with Hollywood PAL this Summer as a Program Assistant Summer Vista
 
What: Hollywood PAL is looking for a qualified Summer intern to join our team full-time for a 9-week (June 14th – August 13th) summer project centered around our Summer programming. This internship would focus on helping execute our Summer programs along with creating a marketing plan for the roll out of programming post- COVID.
 
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old or older
  • Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or DACA Recipient
  • Must be available for the full 9 Weeks (June 14th – August 13th)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok)
  • Works well in a team
  • Self-motivated
  • Great with project management
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
  • Hollywood PAL Alumni is a plus
  • A background check is required
  • Must be able to work in-person at the Hollywood PAL office
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the daily program operations
  • Assist with the development of Summer programming
  • Create a strategic Marketing plan for the roll out of programming
  • Contact families and facilitate the reintegration to the programs
  • Act as the community outreach specialist to recruit, engage, and deploy needed volunteers
  • Develop content for various social media sites to help highlight Summer programming
  • Assist with the development of strategic content in relation to COVID response
